FunCat Electric Catamaran
Introducing the world's only electrically powered, chaise lounge catamaran. Each boat is equipped with the latest in marine electronic technology and special maintenance features that provide reliability and performance day in and day out. FunCats are attractive, durable and designed for both fresh and salt water use.
The FunCat is designed and built for comfort, stability, safety and reliability. With a weight capacity of 400 pounds, two adults can cruise comfortably, side-by-side, on the spacious chaise lounge. The lounge chair utilizes a breathable soft fabric, reclines in two positions and has an optional convertible bimini top for sun protection. A ride on the FunCat takes peaceful relaxation to a new level.
Easy to use controls mounted on the armrest maneuver the FunCat in any direction; you can even turn the craft within its own axis. High-density polyethylene, roto-molded catamaran hulls are strong, watertight, durable, and provide excellent stability. Each pontoon contains a fully recessed electric motor designed to be environmentally friendly, safe and easily brought onto shore without damage to the propellers. The craft runs on reliable and efficient electric power. Two, deep-cycle rechargeable batteries (not included) power the motors. The batteries are conveniently located in the pontoon compartments for easy access and recharging. An optional built-in, battery charger is also available. The FunCats top speed is approximately 4 mph and it can cruise up to 4 hours on a full battery charge.
