The Solo 14 is built using an ultra tough thermo-formed co-polymer with Solarkote, a UV proof acrylic coating guaranteed for 20 years, bonded to the exterior. It will not fade and will retain it's fine shiny finish. Features of the Solo 14 include multi functioning fixed seat and slide seat rowing gear, hinged outriggers and regular oarlocks, bilge drain and plug, bow and stern eyes (so the Solo 14 can be brought up on davits if used as a tender or for easy towing) and 'non skid' for safe and effective slip prevention. This model comes complete with your choice of hatchet style or club style high quality carbon fiber sculling oars. For added features, you can include a stainless steel keel strip for added hull protection, an outboard engine pad and fishing rod rod holders with bases. There are other accessories that can be ordered with the Solo 14 such as fenders and lines, a custom name put on the stern, all season boat cover and running lights. For hotel or beach club clients we offer a choice of hull colors as well as the option of a custom vinyl cut name on the transom for easy identification and brand awareness. Custom names are available for the Classic Whitehalls as well.
